How It Works

Willing donors can register with their details, including blood group and district, to join their local network.
Get Matched
When a request comes in, coordinators look for eligible registered donors in that district and may reach out to those who could help.
Donate at the hospital
Donations take place at a hospital or licensed blood bank, following their standard medical screening.

What information is collected?
To register as a donor we collect your name, phone number, blood group, age, gender, state, district and area. Email and last donation date are optional. We also record whether you are available. We don’t ask for government IDs or financial details when you register.
Who can access the information?
Donor details are not shown publicly. Authorised coordinators with password-protected accounts, assigned by district, can see them to coordinate requests.
When might a registered donor be contacted?
A coordinator may contact you when an active request in your district matches your blood group, you are marked available, and the usual gap since your last donation has passed. You are free to decline.
How can someone stop participating?
You can pause your availability at any time by contacting our coordination team via WhatsApp or email, and coordinators will mark your profile unavailable.
How can someone request deletion of their information?
Submit a deletion or consent-withdrawal request anytime through our online Privacy Request form or email support@donornearby.in. After verifying your phone number, our team will process your request.
